CRANKSGIVING BIKE RIDE & FOOD DRIVE BENEFITING VETERANS HELPING VETERANS, USA, INC.
Each participant will ride a 7 mile roundtrip route including stops at two grocery stores (Publix & Aldi) to purchase $20.00 in food items between both stores for a veterans Thanksgiving Dinner. Purchased food will be loaded onto trucks and delivered to the Veterans helping Veterans, USA main office in Ocala. $20.00 entry fee includes a T-Shirt. Registration: 7:00 A.M. (Cash or Check only on day of ride). Ride Start: 8:00 A.M. Bicycles must be in good working order. Helmets and bike lights are required. Sponsorship Opportunities Available. After ride activities at The Club at Candler Hills will include a RAFFLE DRAWING for a wonderful prize of one year free membership from the Ranch Fitness Center and Spa plus great gifts will be raffled from local Bicycle Shops and Businesses. (Raffle ticket sales / cash only). 3 gift baskets from the Ranch for MOST FOOD PURCHASED will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed cyclist. (Keep your receipts and turn them in after the ride)
Lunch at Candler Hills will be available. (Lunch and beverages not included in the registration fee)
No Refunds after November 14th. In case of rain, cyclist are asked to drive to the stores, make their grocery purchses and bring them back to The Club at Candler Hills on the scheduled day of the event.
